sometimes i get so carried away in my daydreams i begin to react as if they really happened.

for instance.

what would my family and i do if mt. rainier exploded and it quickly became evident that we would need to evacuate our home asap? how would we react? where would we go? what would we bring?

if there was a fire in our house, a big, fast burning fire. i am not worried about me or my brother escaping; i feel we could and maybe only suffer a broken bone if that. but i worry about my parents more...

and the daydream that just inspired this post was... what if bombs rained down on us.... on tacoma, on me here, what if everything was smoke and fire and what if i lost my cell phone, what if tacoma were under attack, chaos, there are 2 or 3 people i must find right away and stay with... what would my parents do, they'd be so worried...

and what if for some reason we had to hide in our home, where would we hide... what if we suddenly had to leave, what would we take... what could i carry on me that would be worth it...

if i had a backpack and could only bring that with me if i were for some reason forced to leave... i'd bring a few water bottles. food (but what specifically?), general medicine and some small first aid... a gun and extra bullets... waterproof matches... flashlight? batteries? water purifying tablet? solar blanket? my most durable coat? bag is getting pretty heavy. stuffed. gold and gems. all forms of cash. bible. a few pictures.

what would you bring if you only had a backpack? i dont know where you're going. just away from your home forever...

Ketchup.

I know, terrible, terrible pun.

I have 5 days left of break, and while I'm looking forward to going back to school, I'm also really enjoying this break. I've been babysitting a lot, sleeping a lot, and I've had a chance to read for fun and work on some art projects. I've also been working on my fashion blog a lot. It's been pretty fun so far, and now that my comment box problem is fixed, I've been getting a few comments which is really fun. It's like What?!??! Somebody's reading this?!?!? AWESOME!!!

The hardest part of this break has been the nights. When everyone else goes to bed and I'm still awake for a few more hours, since I'm a night owl, I get terribly lonely and sad. I try to keep myself busy, definitely—often I will do an art project while watching a movie, or read. And it works. But the sadness comes. I'm doing a lot better than at the beginning of break, though.

Blah blah blah.

Mafia Rules.

Don't ask why, but I was googling the mafia. I found these supposed rules on wikipedia and thought I'd share them, because they are interesting to me.

"They are thought to be guidelines on how to be a good, respectful and honourable mafioso.[27]

  1. No one can present himself directly to another of our friends. There must be a third person to do it.
  2. Never look at the wives of friends.
  3. Never be seen with cops.
  4. Don't go to pubs and clubs.
  5. Always being available for Cosa Nostra is a duty - even if your wife is about to give birth.
  6. Appointments must absolutely be respected.
  7. Wives must be treated with respect.
  8. When asked for any information, the answer must be the truth.
  9. Money cannot be appropriated if it belongs to others or to other families.
  10. People who can't be part of Cosa Nostra: anyone who has a close relative in the police, anyone with a two-timing relative in the family, anyone who behaves badly and doesn't hold to moral values."

ELLEN PAIGE & BURMA.

I need to do something... Please watch this about the cruel military government and dictator that are currently running Burma (Myanmar).

I've Been On A Tudor Kick Lately.

It started out with watched the first 'Elizabeth' film. Then, of course, I had to watch 'Elizabeth: The Golden Age'. Then, of course, I had to find out more about that Henry VII dude. Then, of course, I had to see what that 'The Other Boleyn Girl' business was all about.

The 'Henry VIII' documentary is excellent. He was an awful bastard who threw away women. 6 wives is a bit excessive.

Both of the 'Elizabeth' films are also excellent—really impressive films, especially 'The Golden Age'. Cate Blanchett is a stunning, as usual. She's definitely one of my favorite actresses.

'The Other Boleyn Girl' is just so-so... it was entertaining and I really like Natalie Portman, but I wouldn't highly recommend it or anything. It was pleasing to find out that Jim Sturgess is in it though... Heh, heh...

Joseph Fiennes plays Dudley in 'Elizabeth'. No wonder why she fell in love with him.... Sigh. He sure is dreamy...

I think Jim Sturgess is really cute too...
WEll now you all know who I have a crush on. Ha.
